Waist Training Your Love Handles Away
Why is it that when you start to lose weight, you always lose it where you don’t need to lose it – like your fingers and toes. Those pesky love handles seem to be stuck like glue, and it can take the likes of waist trainers to help get rid of them.
So, if you’re fighting a never-ending battle against those love handles, then waist trainers might be the answer. Read on to learn what it could take to shift that weight once and for all.
Firstly, What Are Love Handles?
Love handles are bulges of fat that sit around your waistline. They can take a targeted workout routine to shift, and tend to be quite stubborn to move, otherwise.
How to Get Rid of Love Handles
It’s important to note that a waist trainer on its own will not get rid of your love handles. It’s not a magic cure, even if it’s a standout product that can certainly help.
You can use a waist trainer while doing a core-strengthening routine. The goal of such an exercise routine is to build your ab muscles while burning fat around that mid-region at the same time.
Alongside wearing a waist trainer to help get rid of love handles, it’s a good idea to have some core-strengthening exercises up your sleeve. Fortunately, there are plenty of suitable ones that you can do while wearing waist trainers.
Side planks involve lying on one side, stacking your feet, and holding your weight on one elbow, hip, and ankle. Keep your back flat and push your hips into a side plank position.
Burpees are most people’s least favourite exercise, but no pain, no gain, right? This exercise, which can help with your love handles, involves dropping down into a squat, going into a plank position, then jumping up.
Oddly enough, you don’t need a bicycle for this exercise. Lie on your back and kick your legs into the air, as if you were pedaling on a bike.
Position your hands behind your head and elbows out, like you’re watching clouds from the lawn. As you bicycle, move one of your knees up to the opposite elbow so that you feel that “burn” in your stomach area.
Russian twists are some of the most popular exercises for getting rid of those love handles. Sit on the ground with your feet in front of you, and your knees bent. Keep your hands in front of your chest, but twist your torso side to side and back to the middle. You can also hold a weight or ball to increase the difficulty level.
Wearing a Waist Trainer
Alongside doing some core-strengthening exercises, you can also gently work your way into wearing a waist trainer over a period of several weeks. For the first week, wear it for around four hours per day, five days a week. The more you wear it, the more comfortable it becomes. Increase the time as you become used to it. Don’t forget to exercise and eat a healthy diet.
Love handles aren’t going to shift by themselves. They also won’t disappear through the use of waist trainers alone. Improve your diet and start a new core-strengthening exercise routine. In a matter of weeks, you can begin to see results.
