Side Planks

Side planks involve lying on one side, stacking your feet, and holding your weight on one elbow, hip, and ankle. Keep your back flat and push your hips into a side plank position.

Bicycle Crunches

Oddly enough, you don’t need a bicycle for this exercise. Lie on your back and kick your legs into the air, as if you were pedaling on a bike.

Position your hands behind your head and elbows out, like you’re watching clouds from the lawn. As you bicycle, move one of your knees up to the opposite elbow so that you feel that “burn” in your stomach area.

Russian Twists

Russian twists are some of the most popular exercises for getting rid of those love handles. Sit on the ground with your feet in front of you, and your knees bent. Keep your hands in front of your chest, but twist your torso side to side and back to the middle. You can also hold a weight or ball to increase the difficulty level.

Wearing a Waist Trainer

Alongside doing some core-strengthening exercises, you can also gently work your way into wearing a waist trainer over a period of several weeks. For the first week, wear it for around four hours per day, five days a week. The more you wear it, the more comfortable it becomes. Increase the time as you become used to it. Don’t forget to exercise and eat a healthy diet.
